While implementing OKR, the objective is qualitative and provides a broad goal or what is to be accomplished. These objectives are backed up by key results, which are quantitative and measurable benchmarks which monitor how the objective is achieved. Key Results (KRs) are specific, measurable and time-bound. OKRs are a handy tool for aligning goals throughout an organization and across teams.

Objective:

Improve and monitor user engagement

Key Results

→ Ensure bounce rate is below 50% for top ten pages.

→ Aim for a 3 minute mark for Average Session Duration across the top 10 pages.

→ Increase goal conversion rate to 15% on top 10 conversion pages.

→ Decrease exit rate by 15% on top 10 pages.


Objective:

Develop better keyword strategies

Key Results

→ Identify the top 15-20 keyword targets and build a dashboard to track weekly ranking changes.

→ 70% or above of the targeted keywords should rank in positions 1-3 by the end of the quarter.

→ Decrease the overall page load time by 40% across all pages that fall under the keyword targets.

Improve off-page SEO

Key Results

→ Conduct outreach to relevant publications to secure back-links for 15 posts.

→ Pitch and write 20 guest posts to high-authority websites every month.

→ Reach out to 10 influences in the niche and ask for reviews and quotes.
